What is PVOT?

Photovoltaic Online Training (PVOT) for Code Officials is an efficient way to provide high quality, standardized, training to code officials in jurisdictions across the country.

SuPerB’s team of project managers, instructional designers, graphic artists, and 3D modelers  have created a suite of lessons that are publicly available using Moodle on at www.PVOnlineTraining.org.

Why is it important?

Code officials provide a critical link in the process of PV installation applications and the permitting process. PVOT will substantially increase the reach and scale of solar training available to code officials and throughout the United States. Continuing Education Credits are available for this course from the International Association of Electrical Inspectors.
